THREE IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS REGARDING ADVANCEMENT!
1) RAZORBACK IS RAISING THE BAR FOR EAGLE SCOUTS
Beginning January1, 2009 Razorback District will no longer accept hand written Eagle Scout Project Workbooks or applications. In this world of technology there is no longer reason to handwrite these documents. If you do not have a computer, some suggestions are to use a friends, relatives, or neighbors, go to the public library, or use the computer that is available at the Springdale Scout Shop. (more)
2) YEAR END ADVANCEMENT REPORTING
All advancements earned in a calendar year must be entered through the on-line advancement process by the end of December of that calendar year.
If you have a Court of Honor in March for awards earned sometime the year before, they will never show up on an advancement report if entered after the end of the year as reports are closed and date sensitive. It is very important for your troop, your district and your council to have accurate advancement figures. (more)
3) IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!

BONESS HAS HEAD SHAVED AT ROUNDTABLE!

Not a bad head of hair
for such an old guy!

In response to record-breaking Razorback District popcorn sales, Grace Lapetina shaved the head of Mike Boness, District Director, at District Roundtable on November 6th. Boness promised that if the District sold $250,000 worth of popcorn he would do the deed. The Razorback District in fact surpassed the goal and then some, selling $264,295 in popcorn -- a record amount -- which surpassed 2007 sales by 26%! (11/06)
